Who I Am

This website, martincv.com, is the personal portfolio and blog of Martin Jankov, a web developer. For any privacy-related question, you can reach me at martin@martincv.com.

What Data I Collect

The only personal data this site collects is what you choose to send through the contact form:

• Your name
• Your email address
• The project type you select
• Your message

This information is delivered to my email inbox and used solely to respond to your inquiry. It is not stored in the website database, not added to any marketing list, and never sold or shared for advertising.

Spam Protection (reCAPTCHA)

The contact form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which may collect device and interaction data to distinguish humans from bots. Its use is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Cookies

This site uses a small number of cookies:

• Consent cookies — remember your choice in the cookie consent banner.
• Performance cookies — set by the caching layer to serve pages faster. They contain no personal information.
• Analytics cookies — set by Google Analytics (see below) to measure how the site is used.

Analytics (Google Site Kit)

This site uses Google Site Kit to connect with Google services, including Google Analytics. Analytics collects information about how visitors use the site — such as pages viewed, time on page, browser and device type, and approximate location — to help me understand which content is useful. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally, and it is processed by Google under the Google Privacy Policy. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by declining analytics cookies in the consent banner.

Embedded Content

Blog articles may include embedded content such as YouTube videos. Embedded content behaves exactly as if you had visited the source website, which may collect data about you, use its own cookies, and monitor your interaction with the embed.

Data Retention

Emails resulting from contact form submissions are kept for as long as needed to handle our correspondence, and may be retained afterwards as regular business records of an engagement.

Your Rights

You can ask me at any time to access, correct, or delete the personal data I hold about you (in practice: our email correspondence). Send your request to martin@martincv.com and I will handle it promptly.
