Security & Maintenance

A neglected site is a liability. Ongoing care keeps your application, dependencies and infrastructure patched, monitored and backed up — whether it runs on WordPress, Laravel or a custom stack — with a clear plan for the day something does go wrong.

Step by step

How this service works

  1. 01

    Security audit

I review users, dependencies, hosting configuration and past incidents to find the weak points first.

  2. 02

    Hardening

Login protection, permissions, headers and configuration get locked down to close the common attack paths.

  3. 03

    Backups & monitoring

Automated off-site backups plus uptime, malware and integrity monitoring go in place.

  4. 04

    Ongoing maintenance

Updates are applied on a schedule, tested on staging where it matters, with a changelog you can actually read.

  5. 05

    Reporting

A monthly summary of updates, scans, backups and anything that needed attention — no news is documented, not assumed.

Common questions

What happens if my site gets hacked while under your care?

I clean it, restore from backup if needed, close the entry point and document what happened. Incident response on sites I maintain is a priority, not an emergency extra.

Do updates ever break the site?

Rarely — riskier updates are tested on a staging copy first, and every update run starts with a fresh backup, so there is always a way back.

I already have hosting backups. Is that not enough?

Host backups are a good start, but they usually live on the same infrastructure as the site. I keep independent off-site copies and actually test restores.
